Is a department under the Accountant Generals office which is responsible for state investment portfolio and other related activities such as:-

a. Monitoring of standing &special imprest to ministries and parastatals.

b. Issuance of loans & advances to ministries &individuals.

c. Custodian/payment of contract retention money, 1% education levy and deduction of vehicle loan to staff.

d. Preparation of statement of accounts for retirees.

e. Ensures retirement of standing imprest granted to all MDAs in the state.
