A Sub-Treasury is a Unit under the Accountant General Office which is responsible for Payment of Salaries to all MDA’s, Payment to Contractors, Retentions, Standing Impress and others Payment.

It has three major sections:-
i.    Salary Section
ii.    Main Account Section
iii.    Committee and Commission Section

- Salary Section:- is in charge of Payment of Salaries to all Staff of MDA’s and others Payment.
- Main Account:- is in charge of Payment of Contractors, Retention Money and any other Payment.
- Committee and Commission:- is in charge or responsible of Payment of Cash Allocation, Standing Imprest and Special Imprest.
